Fall Colours with Megan Pickersgill For this photoshoot with Megan Pickersgill, we decided on a fall colours photoshoot. The change of colours in the fall is spectacular in Ontario. I worked with Megan a couple of times before. I was very pleased with her modeling abilities. We chose to shoot this set in Brunet Park, located in Lasalle, Ontario. The colours in the park were the most saturated I could find, locally, after scouting several parks. We shot in various areas of the park, trying to find the most colourful spots. Location Photoshoot with Ornella Amora A location photoshoot with Ornella at her home in Lasalle. Window shots were mostly natural/available light. I also used a new mobile portrait lighting setup where necessary. My new mobile portrait lighting setup is the Strobepro x600ii (Godox AD600 clone) and Godox AD200 battery powered strobes. A Creative Halloween Photoshoot with Dee I recently worked on a creative halloween photoshoot in my photography studio with Dee Style. Dee was one of the models featured in a previous collaboration titled "Calaveras." Dee is an amazing makeup artist who loves to do costume makeup for conceptual imagery. This time, Dee wanted to do evil clown makeup, so we set a date and agreed to meet at my studio. Cosplay Photoshoot – Halloween – Wonder Woman

A Halloween Cosplay Photoshoot with Natalie I recently did a cosplay photoshoot at my studio. If you are a repeat visitor to my blog, you may recognize Natalie Laliberte. I have worked with Natalie a few times. Natalie ordered her costume and we set a date to meet at my studio and do her cosplay photshoot. The plan was to shoot on seamless background paper. After the shoot, I then used Photoshop composite digital imaging techniques and Photoshop to insert Natalie into a more interesting environment. Fashion Photoshoot: Natalie Laliberte in Calvin Klein Underwear I met local model Natalie Laliberte in my studio to do a fashion photoshoot. We are constantly upgrading our respective portfolios. Whenever possible, I love to shoot with brand name fashion and accessories. Natalie arrived to the studio with tight curls, minimal makeup and Calvin Klein underwear. What a combination! The set was lit with a single Alien Bees B800 with a large octabox. A v-flat provided fill to lift the shadows. All images were captured with Canon 5D Mark II and the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 ART lens. My Hiatus – A Brief Explanation

My mom died on February 15th, 2017 after a long battle with Alzheimers Disease, which culminated in a stroke that took mom from us 2 weeks later. Although it was still difficult, we were more mentally and emotionally prepared for mom's death as we knew it was eminent due to her weight loss, loss of appetite, constant dehydration and other symptoms and effects of Alzhemer's Disease. Mom was memorialized and interred at Victoria Greenlawn Cemetary. After mom died, Sharon (my wife) and I had to deal with the effects of dad's frontal lobe dementia. From November 2017 until February of 2018 we lived this routine of helping dad get from A to B, cooking, doing…
