Myrissa and I met at my studio to do some dramatic portraits with coloured light gels and a fog machine. The studio portraits we created exhibit a strong sense of drama and mood, achieved through posing, styling, and lighting. Myrissa, my model is centered in the composition, with her pose exuding confidence and emotion. Her various poses progress from a sense of vulnerability to sensuality and strength. Myrissa's style further amplifies this mood, with her black, mesh-detailed dress introducing intricate textures that interact beautifully with my lighting. Check out this Coca-Cola pinup photoshoot with Myrissa Myrissa and I met in the studio for a photo shoot. She brought three or four outfits and this was one of them. A really neat Coca-Cola branded T-shirt that she bought from spencers gifts. I thought this would make a great pinup look, paired with the other accessories and apparel that she chose for the session. Photographing Bodypaint with Lizzy Grandmaison This was a really cool shoot! Lizzy and I planned a shoot involving photographing bodypaint, where she would be painted white and then be splashed with paint from the feet up. We met at my studio and Lizzy proceeded to paint herself white, aided by Sharon, my wife, and studio assistant. Sharon is also a media artist and loves painting acrylic creations. A Creative Halloween Photoshoot with Dee I recently worked on a creative halloween photoshoot in my photography studio with Dee Style. Dee was one of the models featured in a previous collaboration titled "Calaveras." Dee is an amazing makeup artist who loves to do costume makeup for conceptual imagery. This time, Dee wanted to do evil clown makeup, so we set a date and agreed to meet at my studio. Fashion Photoshoot: Natalie Laliberte in Calvin Klein Underwear I met local model Natalie Laliberte in my studio to do a fashion photoshoot. We are constantly upgrading our respective portfolios. Whenever possible, I love to shoot with brand name fashion and accessories. Natalie arrived to the studio with tight curls, minimal makeup and Calvin Klein underwear. What a combination! The set was lit with a single Alien Bees B800 with a large octabox. A v-flat provided fill to lift the shadows. All images were captured with Canon 5D Mark II and the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 ART lens.
