My model Lizzy and I like to find unique public or private locations for a fashion photoshoot. This time we wanted a riverfront spot with blacks or browns and a lot of unique character or textures to capture stunning images of Lizzy in Sullen Clothing and accessories. We decided to see what we could accomplish around the HMCS Hunter building at the foot of Mill street in Windsor. I picked Lizzy up and we drive together to the site. I loved the windows, the curved garden wall and, the black fencing. So, we focused on those elements and after shooting for about 25 minutes, we were done. A shoot in Guess Fashion with Ornella  One of my most favorite ladies to shoot with, Ornella. She is pleasant, honest and a beautiful woman with entrepreneurial drive. Ornella and I got together in my former studio on Pelissier St. to shoot some fashion images. Ornella brought Guess fashion items to shoot in.  She never disappoints with her choices. My former studio was located in the Chelsea Apartments building in downtown Windsor. Fashion Photoshoot: Natalie Laliberte in Calvin Klein Underwear I met local model Natalie Laliberte in my studio to do a fashion photoshoot. We are constantly upgrading our respective portfolios. Whenever possible, I love to shoot with brand name fashion and accessories. Natalie arrived to the studio with tight curls, minimal makeup and Calvin Klein underwear. What a combination! The set was lit with a single Alien Bees B800 with a large octabox. A v-flat provided fill to lift the shadows. All images were captured with Canon 5D Mark II and the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 ART lens. Fashion Portraits with Playboy Plus model and Naked News personality Krysta Lynn I recently picked up the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 EX DG ART lens for my Canon DSLR and I have to say it is quickly becoming my go-to portrait lens! This lens is exactly as the reviews said. It is bulky and heavy but it is also everything else the reviews say. It is a fast piece of glass that just feels good and solid in my hands.  I have done a few personal/portfolio shoots and worked the Sigma for maybe half of the session. Natural Light Portrait – Krysta Lynn in Guess

A fresh natural light portrait of Krysta Lynn in a beautiful dress by Guess, captured in my new studio in Downtown Windsor, Ontario. Also new is a lens added to my collection; the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 EX DG from the Sigma ART line of lenses. This lens is as heavy as everyone said but it feels great in my hands. The focus ring is large enough for a monkey to maneuver so no problems there. The depth of field is wickedly shallow and the bokeh is absolutely beautiful, melting away even the ugliest background.
