Hot, humid days like today remind me of my youth and going for an ice cream and a Pepsi. Nothing beats the heat like a freezing cold, sweet, melting-in-the-sun drippy ice cream cone. Nothing! So when Myrissa asked me if wanted to do a location photoshoot at an ice cream shop, I was in like gangbusters! I met Myrissa and her fiance Mike at Slinky's Ice Cream in Tecumseh, Ontario. Ornella and I got together in my former studio on Pelissier St. to shoot some fashion images. Ornella brought Guess fashion items to shoot in.  She never disappoints with her choices. My former studio was located in the Chelsea Apartments building in downtown Windsor. Cedar Beach with Natalie Cedar Beach is a favorite of mine for Swimwear photography. Natalie and I have worked together for a number of years now. She is fun, willing to try new things and is super easy on the eyes. Put the two together and we have all the elements needed to create some beautiful images. We just had to use it for this shoot! Locations We decided to drive around and scout some locations that would suit the look I was going for. Sandpoint Beach with Nikki Leigh I prefer the views and shooting options of Point Pelee National Park. However, Sandpoint Beach is an okay local option, only 15-20 minutes from downtown Windsor. Better beaches are almost an hour out of the city.  The Ride to Sandpoint I picked up Nikki from her place and made our way to the beach.
