Boudoir Photography – Megan

Boudoir Photography at Akey Photography Studio. A selection of samples from a recent studio boudoir photography session with fitness trainer Megan. Captured in my photography studio in downtown Windsor, Ontario. For this session we used both natural daylight and studio flash. I used a selection of portrait prime and telephoto lenses, including my most recent addition, the Sigma 85mm ART lens which I continue to find reasons to use more and more. Swimwear Photography in Windsor, Ontario at Akey Photography Studio! My studio has been relocated from West Windsor to downtown Windsor. DJ Sarah Sabatini contacted me to do a promotional shoot for her business profile. Since the weather is still cold for beach shooting, we decided to shoot in-studio. We got Sarah in the studio and created a series of images with 3-4 different swimsuits to give her a good selection of choices. Outdoor Boudoir – Krysta

Outdoor boudoir on location in summer of 2016. Windsor's own Playboy Plus model and Naked News personality Krysta Lynn, Ray Akey of Ray Akey Photography and Windsor hair artist Wissam Kayal collaborated on an outdoor boudoir photography session conducted at Ojibway Park and Nature Preserve and the Ojibway Prairie. For this session, there were no flashes or reflectors used. This session was captured with Canon 5D Mark II and Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS lens using only sunlight. Below is a selection of favorites from the shoot.

Sierra Dupuis – Prom Day – Jackson Park

Meet my great niece Sierra Dupuis. Sharon and I met up with Sierra, sister Savannah and their mom Theresa at Jackson Park in Windsor to snap some pretty photos of Sierra in her prom dress. 5 proms in the park this day made it a bit of a challenge! We had to forego the lighting I had planned and worked with available light. We got lucky when clouds moved in to diffuse the sunlight ever so nicely. :) I posted some of these on my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/akeyphoto on the day of the prom but have added a few more previously unseen prom photos with Sierra's cousin Nick Iacono.

Modeling Portfolio – Maia Parris

Meet Maia, an aspiring 16-year old model and actress from Windsor, Ontario! I was contacted by Maia in March to photograph a modeling portfolio for her. Previously, I photographed images for the portfolio of her mom, Carol Parris. Maia was impressed enough by our work with her mom that she contacted me to produce her first modeling portfolio. We arranged to meet at my studio to capture a selection of outfits and poses. Maia arrived at the studio with her stylists (mom Carrol Parris and sister Kiswanna Parris) and Maia did her own makeup. Creative Portraits Creative Portraits are a great way to express your unique individuality through makeup, wardrobe or a combination of both! Jojo, a good friend and sometimes muse got the itch to shoot and always comes with an idea! This time she suggested doing something with cornrows.
