Cedar Beach with Natalie Cedar Beach is a favorite of mine for Swimwear photography. Natalie and I have worked together for a number of years now. She is fun, willing to try new things and is super easy on the eyes. Put the two together and we have all the elements needed to create some beautiful images. Sandpoint Beach – Nikki Leigh – 2017-06-15
Sandpoint Beach with Nikki Leigh I prefer the views and shooting options of Point Pelee National Park. However, Sandpoint Beach is an okay local option, only 15-20 minutes from downtown Windsor. Better beaches are almost an hour out of the city. The Ride to Sandpoint I picked up Nikki from her place and made our way to the beach. We arrived around 6:30pm and captured a series of shots in natural light. Some of Nikki playing in the water, some standing, sitting, crouching or laying on the sand and some partially in the water. Swimwear Photography in Windsor, Ontario at Akey Photography Studio! My studio has been relocated from West Windsor to downtown Windsor. DJ Sarah Sabatini contacted me to do a promotional shoot for her business profile. Since the weather is still cold for beach shooting, we decided to shoot in-studio. We got Sarah in the studio and created a series of images with 3-4 different swimsuits to give her a good selection of choices. Swimwear portraits at Point Pelee National Park with model Kristy Lee in a Guess Bikini. Kit Swimwear portraits.. spring, summer or fall my beach kit is simple. When shooting swimwear and thinking lenses, the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS is my go-to for beach/location portraits. The compression at 200mm is absolutely amazing as is the bokeh at f/2.8. It should be interesting to see what the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 ART can do in 2017 when it gets warm enough to be on the beach and not turn into a human icicle. Swimwear and casual photography make up the largest chunk of my portfolio. Chelsey and I have been Facebook friends for some time and have discussed shooting here and there but It wasn't until this last week that we finally got a chance to work together. I met Chelsey and her boyfriend at Point Pelee National Park to capture some casual and bikini images of Chelsey. I have used this park many times but always seem to find something different, a unique perspective or composition that appeals to the eye more than the usual..
