Boudoir Photography in the Studio Boudoir Photography is one of the most requested genres of photography I participate in. It is also one of the styles I have practiced most. I don't know of a beautiful woman or handsome gentleman who wouldn't like sensual, desirable and sometimes overtly sexual images for themselves and/or someone special with which they share their closest sensual moments. Every now and then I work with models to create images that I use in my portfolio and in blog posts such as this one. Original Cult - Fashion with Ashley Ashley and I worked on some alternative fashion photography for our portfolios. She had this cool Original Cult convertible dress. We just had to use it for this shoot! Locations We decided to drive around and scout some locations that would suit the look I was going for. For location #1 we started in the far east of Windsor and used the exterior of a public works building. After shooting a set of options there, we relocated to some unused railroad tracks beneath an underpass and captured another set of images. The stars are Casey Carriere and Kelsey Thomson, soon to be Mr. & Mrs. Casey and Kelsey Carriere. We are here to photograph parts of the wedding as discussed with the bride and groom prior to our arrival. Boudoir Photography – Megan
Boudoir Photography at Akey Photography Studio. A selection of samples from a recent studio boudoir photography session with fitness trainer Megan. Captured in my photography studio in downtown Windsor, Ontario. For this session we used both natural daylight and studio flash. I used a selection of portrait prime and telephoto lenses, including my most recent addition, the Sigma 85mm ART lens which I continue to find reasons to use more and more. Sierra Dupuis – Prom Day – Jackson Park
Meet my great niece Sierra Dupuis. Sharon and I met up with Sierra, sister Savannah and their mom Theresa at Jackson Park in Windsor to snap some pretty photos of Sierra in her prom dress. 5 proms in the park this day made it a bit of a challenge! We had to forego the lighting I had planned and worked with available light. We got lucky when clouds moved in to diffuse the sunlight ever so nicely. :) I posted some of these on my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/akeyphoto on the day of the prom but have added a few more previously unseen prom photos with Sierra's cousin Nick Iacono.

Engagement – Derek and Crystal
The Engagement of Derek and Crystal This was a special engagement session! I have worked with Derek and Crystal a few times in the past. They are the sweetest couple ever! My favorite collaboration with them was a portfolio collaboration titled "Where the Wild Things Are" which was conceived by Crystal and features Derek, Em (another photographer/model friend) and Crystal herself. Good times! "We Want YOU!" So it was a very nice surprise when Crystal contacted me and said, "Ray, we want YOU!" (to shoot our engagement photos). However, our new friends Ava and Chris were referred by a mutual friend who knows my photography work very well; a friend whom I have collaborated with in the past.
