Wedding – Danny and Melanie – September 5, 2015
Wedding photography is a lot of work before, during and after the photography is all said and done but they are also a lot of fun!
Danny and Melanie are career professionals whom I met while working at Goodlife Fitness in 2014. Melanie also worked at Goodlife and Danny is a sportsman who coaches hockey. Whilst conversing with Sharon (my wife), Melanie mentioned that she and Danny were getting married and didn’t yet have a photographer. Sharon mentioned to them that I was an experienced photographer and that, together with she as my assistant photographer, we would love to capture the events of the day. Sharon introduced us, we talked and after agreeing to some business details, they hired us as their photographer.
Our first experience photographing Danny and Mel was when we captured their save-the-date set and Muscedere Vinyards, which I posted previously here. We discovered that they were a fun, active couple and loved natural light photos.
We began the wedding day with details and preparations at the Groom’s family home. We then proceeded by Trolley to capture some more moments with the groom and groomsmen at the Essex Train Station. Then off to capture the bridal preparations at her family home before making our way to the ceremony at Fogolar Furlan. After a beautiful ceremony which brought tears of joy to many, the full bridal party made their way into the trolley which took us to the Walker Power Building on Riverside drive for available light photos of the entire wedding party. The reception was at the Fogolar Furlan and it was a full room! All in all a beautiful wedding and a memorable day!
We are so thankful for you choosing Akey Photography to photograph your day, Danny and Mel! We hope that you can look at your wedding photos and always remember and hold dear that which is the love, joy and memories that were made on this special day!
