Boudoir photography in my Windsor, Ontario Photography studio. You want beautiful, well-lit images. Images that evoke a feeling of passion and sensuality. This set is overflowing with all of the above! Thanks to Kristen for being my model for this set.

The Studio

I try and build simple sets in my studio. Small, simple sets allow me to focus on the model, her expression and connection to me and my camera. I have relocated the studio multiple times both in order to cut costs and I also noticed that changing things up gives a “freshness” to my images which may not have been apparent otherwise. At the time of this session, the studio was located at 511 Pelissier in the Chelsea Apartments.

Lighting

I love working with mixed lighting. Light sources of mixed temperature give images an amazing depth. In this case the beautiful window light of my studio, streaming through 2 large multi-paned glass windows. These combined with studio strobe lighting made this such a beautiful spot for boudoir photography. Alas, it only worked during certain times of day. I long for a studio with large windows or doors that can be opened to flood the room with natural daylight all day long.

The Model

Kristen, our model for this shoot is a stunning blonde beauty with a passion for fashion and boudoir modeling.  Kristen has a particular love for wedding fashions.
