Check out this Coca-Cola pinup photoshoot with Myrissa Myrissa and I met in the studio for a photo shoot. She brought three or four outfits and this was one of them. A really neat Coca-Cola branded T-shirt that she bought from spencers gifts. I thought this would make a great pinup look, paired with the other accessories and apparel that she chose for the session. I set up some pinup lighting and we proceeded to capture some really spiffy pinup photos. Check them out! Don’t forget to check back often for new posts and photos.

Location Photoshoot with Ornella Amora A location photoshoot with Ornella at her home in Lasalle. Window shots were mostly natural/available light. I also used a new mobile portrait lighting setup where necessary. My new mobile portrait lighting setup is the Strobepro x600ii (Godox AD600 clone) and Godox AD200 battery powered strobes. Natural Beauty I met natural beauty Natalie, a young model from Essex County, for the first time when I arrived to this photo shoot. She has this amazing hair and a girl next door, freckled face that just screams photogenic.  Natural light I preferred natural light for this shoot because of Natalie's natural beauty and curls. We began around 6:30pm. We walked around the park stopping wherever the light was good. I don't stick in one place too long as I like a variety to choose from. Swimwear Photography in Windsor, Ontario at Akey Photography Studio! My studio has been relocated from West Windsor to downtown Windsor.  DJ Sarah Sabatini contacted me to do a promotional shoot for her business profile. Since the weather is still cold for beach shooting, we decided to shoot in-studio. Swimwear portraits at Point Pelee National Park with model Kristy Lee in a Guess Bikini. Kit Swimwear portraits.. spring, summer or fall my beach kit is simple. When shooting swimwear and thinking lenses, the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS is my go-to for beach/location portraits. The compression at 200mm is absolutely amazing as is the bokeh at f/2.8. It should be interesting to see what the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 ART can do in 2017 when it gets warm enough to be on the beach and not turn into a human icicle. Portrait of the Day – Katie – High ISO

A high ISO frame from my recent shoot with too pretty for words model Katie Lalonde. I usually use anywhere from 3 to 5 studio lights for much of my work.  However, this summer I am absolutely loving the challenge of these natural light shoots! I used no light modifiers on this shot and no artificial light, just a perfect exposure on a pedestrian bridge at a local park I love to shoot in around 7pm on a summer evening. In order to get a shake-free image handheld under this canopy of trees, I had to bump the ISO to 1600 for this shot. No worries, the Canon 5D Mark II has great high ISO performance and the image stabilization…

Location Portraiture with Leah Taillefer Location Portraiture with natural light is one of my favorite ways to photograph people.  Nothing is more fun than a day with a beautiful subject and not having to worry too much about balancing a bunch of lights. Pinup Coke with Beckey

Pinup with Beckey I have always loved shooting pinup photography. I collaborated with Leamington model Beckey Holmes on a Pinup themed photoshoot based on a Coke costume she had purchased online.
