Creative Photography, Hogwarts Style With Courtney

If you have followed me on Facebook or instagram, you may recognize Courtney from a previous Joan Jett themed photoshoot that was shot in my former studio in Olde Sandwich Town. Courtney is a friend’s daughter who is, like many of us, fascinated with the world of Harry Potter.  This time we venture into a Hogwarts themed shoot with Courtney.

The Magic

Courtney brought her cape and did a pretty good job of styling herself for the shoot.  The plan was to shoot at Malden Park. However, we also made the 3 minute drive to Ojibway Park to grab a series of images using the new visitor building as a backdrop. 

I shot the session with my Canon 5D Mark II and Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS lens with no additional equipment or light modifiers.  It was a beautifully overcast day which blessed us with a light snowfall near the end of the session.
